Started a new Dalek yesterday the Imperial MK 2 from Remembrance of the Daleks

Heres my latest model the classic Dalek Emperor with one different, Size the origonal was about two Daleks high this one is three and a half Daleks high it give it a more formidable appearance

The top picture is the start and the bottom is where the model is at the time of this post, ill post completed pics once its finished and i will also do an animation with it

Finally finished the Movie dalek base, keep in mind this is a hybrid not a movie dalek.....



I'm generally quite proud of the whole model.

The movie dalek always seemed so 60s, I mean Lava lamps in the control room! I still though they were awesome though.

SDC - Leaps in rendering, steps in modelling

I've taken leaps and bounds in my rendering and have managed to produce some super reflective stuff, including the Science Dalek Controller - Zerei (Zeree-eye).

Not really Dalek Related but heres the latest test for my new Shoulder cannon for the new villans in Clone Capers for those predator fans out there you can see what its based on

The animation in this was just somthing to do before i turned off C4D the movement is too fast and the lighting sucks but ill make a better and longer one soon

Just a quick update today, with a frame from Iain's Comics, ready for animating! The model belongs to Iain Mclumpha and was poserised by Billy Bowers. Ill admit i do like elements of the new series well except for season 1 thats awful but this latest season is very good mainly cos of Catherine Tate shes not a pushover or silly blond girl who thinks the world revolves around her

SDC - Renders and TV21?

Hello Folks, SDC here, with a couple of renders for y'all, first off we have an interior of a dalek ship I'm working on for the animated version of Iain Mclumpha's comic-The Mystery Planet. The models were made by Iain himself and poserised by Billy Bowers.

I'm quite pleased with it after rigging up the Ear lights and setting up quite a retro mood, tell me what you all think, criticism is appreciated.

















And here I have my own Dalek model with the colours of our good friends the alternative universe Daleks, it's kind of a teaser for part 1 of 3 animated Dalek Episodes.

I stole the colour scheme from Ravens old model (Ooooh, how could I?) but it was too damn good to resist. Please don't use this picture without my permission, if you use the one above I will come down much harder as that belongs to Iain partially (Mainly)......



Unlikely to put up more renders tommorow as I'm off to london, maybe I'll take some photos and add daleks?

Me - Calvin

Hello all! Ravens introduced the basic principle so I'll carry on. I unlike Raven, enjoy the new series, I think lots of it is crap, but that's the same with most of TV, and the good bits make up for it.

I'm to be honest a cartoonist and 3D modelling is just a hobby, but a very enjoyable one. I've made several dalek models but have only just completed one I'm really, really happy with. I'll also post links to animations and put up renders.

I'll be identified as Science Dalek Controller, SDC. I hope you enjoy our many rants and postings and hope to see you around.

Since there are two of us posting here we thought we would introduce our selves

but first we each have ID's so you can tell who is saying what so it doesn't seem like we are contradicting ourselves

My ID will be the Supreme Controller or SC

My real Name is Raven i am 21 and currently doing a media course which finishes in a couple o fmonths

my interest include 3D modeling as you will see by some of the posts and links i post here i also write for short films none have been made yet as i wont let the scripts out of my site as they suck maybe one day i will but not yet.

I consider myself a Doctor Who loyalist and while i like (said very loosely) the new series it is not doctor who and never will be the classic series ended with the 7th doctor and Ace walking off back to the tardis in Survival as far as im concerned.

My big love in sci fi are Daleks Predators and Cylons
